This is the dedicated Barrett AM muzzle brake that your AM-series cans lock onto. Choose 7.62 (.308) 5/8×24 for AM30 or .338 LM 3/4×24 for AM338, set timing with shims, and you’re ready for quick, repeatable attachment.
It’s purpose-built for the AM interface and is not a universal brake. If you run an MRAD or other precision rig and want the cleanest, most secure AM mount-up, this is the part that gets you there. Verified thread/pitch pairings: AM30 uses 5/8×24 (.30 cal) and AM338 uses 3/4×24 (.338 LM).
