The Howa HS Precision rifles are built one at a time here in the United States from the highest quality materials available. The Howa 1500 barreled action is free floated by a CNC machined aluminum bedding block. The Block is placed into a mold and both sides of the mold are hand laminated with Kevlar, fiberglass, and carbon fiber. Then the mold is injected with a proprietary mixture of dense polyurethane foam.
